| Ken's Background:
I have owned
Mustangs before I could even drive. At the age of 15, I bought a
1982 GT with T-Tops. Sense then I have owned 7 other Mustangs,
including my current pony, a 1965 GT Coupe, bought from a Texas
farmer. It had not seen the road sense the summer of 1978. At
that point it was totally dismantled to be transformed into a
drag car. Fortunately none of the transformation had ever taken
place, instead the farmer lost interest and the car sat in a
corner of a barn until it was snatched up by Me in 2003. It took
2 years to restore the old Mustang, it hit the road in June,
2005, sporting a new paint job and drive train. A 302 and T-5
five speed transmission.
In February of 2005, I had an idea to bring
a website that brought Mustang owners together from around the
state, with that Michigan Mustang was born. Thru the year, my
new hobby had become an obsession. MM had gained the support
from the community like I had hoped. With the most local
information on the web, the site has grown to be very popular
with Mustang owners from all over the state.
On a personal level, other then Mustangs
and Web Design, my other hobbies consist of amateur radio,
hunting, fishing, camping and snowmobiling. I also do storm
spotting for the Lansing Area Skywarn, yes I'm a storm chaser
for the National Weather Service! I've been married sense April
2004 to a wonderful lady, Merri. She has put up with all my
hobbies and I love her even more for it. I currently work in the
automotive field as a prototype tech for a tier one supplier to
the big three.
