SOMS Technologies LLC, a provider of engine oil filtration products, has introduced the new microGreen Extended Performance Oil Filter, which the company says enables vehicles to operate for up to 30,000 miles without an oil change.

The patented microGreen oil filter has two filters in one standard spin on canister, designed to ensure that the oil stays cleaner, longer. According to SOMS, microGreen technology reduces the use of oil by 70 percent and oil filters by 50 percent, saving money while significantly decreasing the potential for improper disposal of these hazardous wastes.
