Ford Mustang - Italian Style!
An Italian engineer
and designer by the name of Fabrizio Giugiaro fell
in love with the new Ford Mustang when he first laid eyes on it in 2005. Fabrizio
is the
styling director of
ItalDesign. But he had a vision of
putting a twist on the Pony's current design.

Ford worked with Giugiaro's
legendary father, Giorgetto, who help create the 1965 Bertone
Mustang. So it was natural for Ford to show interest in what
Farizio had cooked up. Boy, did he ever come up with a
beauty!

ItalDesign completed the
exterior design in about four months in Turin, Italy. This
wild pony dawns a curved rear window that looks much like
the early fastbacks. It connects the
windshield and rear window. The interior brings out it's
Italian touch with leather designed to the region. Ford Racing
has also jumped on board and added the
twin-screw supercharged 4.6 liter power plant delivers nearly 500 horsepower.
No Italian car would be complete without winged doors!

 This
Italian concept
will be on display for the first time when Ford
unveils it at
Los Angeles
Auto Show.
