Well, looks like I get to join the millions of Americans who are now unemployed. I have been laid off for the 4th time in my short 12 year career. This is my second company that has been abruptly closed with little or no warning. We've had some writing on the wall for about a year now but no actual announcement until now. Luckly the wife and I are prepared and can survive as is for awhile. So I will be a stay at home Mr. Mom for probably 6-12 months and then see how things are in the economy/job market. At least I won't have to pay for daycare for awhile. Still kind of sucks though...no play toy money. Might even have to sell a few things for some extra cash.

Sorry to hear that man. What did you for them? We've got a few job openings if your interested.

I worked in the engineering department as a Product/CAD designer on the mechanical side. That's what my AAS degree is in. I never completely finished my full engineering BS so getting a job will probably be harder for me. I'd like to do something outside of engineering for awhile just for a change but the job market is so grim...

Wish we were hiring but like everyone else we are slowly down sizing.

Ah, we're looking for someone proficient in CNC programming. And can use Solidworks/CAD.

Ya, I don't have any CNC programing experience...

I almost wish I'd get laid off... tired of bleeding to death! Then I could do more then 4 classes a semester and get my degree faster!

I don't feel like going to school. But work sends us to some classes.
