FOR RELEASE November 1, 2005
Las Vegas NV, November 1, 2005 - Jack Roush today introduced the 2006
Roush Stage 3 Mustang, the quickest, fastest, best-handling, and most
dramatically styled Mustang in the company’s history.
The Roush Performance Products (RPP) Stage 3 Mustang uses a Roots-type
ROUSHcharger system, a water-to-air intercooler, high-flow fuel injectors,
a new aluminum intake manifold, exclusive Roush calibration, and 5 psi of
boost, combined with a performance-tuned exhaust system, to generate 417
horsepower. A Roush Performance Products handling package, including front
and rear coil springs, front and rear stabilizer bars, front struts, and
rear shocks allows the Stage 3 Mustang to achieve a lateral acceleration
of over 1g on a skidpad.
"We went the extra mile on our suspension tuning. We’ve always been known
for horsepower, but with this offering, enthusiasts are really going to
take notice of our handling and suspension dynamics," said Joe Thompson,
general manager of Roush Performance.

The RPP Stage 3 Mustang includes an aerodynamic body kit: front fascia,
hood scoop, rocker moldings, quarter window louvers, chin spoiler, rear
fascia, and rear wing. It comes with Roush leather interior, Roush
performance gauges, and a Roush Performance Products dual exhaust system.
The Stage 3 Mustangs will carry 3-year or 36,000 mile warranty.
Other new products introduced with the Stage 3 Mustang at SEMA include
American-made Roush Wheels, the ROUSHcharged Stage 3 F-150, the new line
of Roush Competition parts, the Roush Performance 451RFE performance
engine, and the Roush F-150 and Mustang ROUSHcharger kits. For more
